The Barton Buzz will be published weekly on Mondays. I do my best to have the newsletter emailed to you by 8:00 am on Monday morning. Those who do not have email and/or printer access will receive a printed copy of the newsletter in your child's Parent Communicator folder every Monday.
The Barton Buzz contains LOTS of IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Every week you will find NIGHTLY HOMEWORK, IMPORTANT DATES, SPELLING WORDS, and TESTS & QUIZZES. Please read this newsletter carefully. If you need an extra copy, I will publish the weekly letters here on the website as well.
Update (08/13/14): Please check out our Homework Page for more information about how we will tackle homework this year!

Edmodo User Names and Password
Spelling City Username and Password
You can now access all the Premium Features on Spelling City but accessing it through your Edmodo Account. There is an icon on the right hand side of the screen when you log into Edmodo that looks like four squares. If you click on this, it will access your Apps. The Spelling City app is labels Vocabulary Spelling City. Going through Edmodo should eliminate the need to "log in" to your own personal Spelling City account. But, I have provided usernames and passwords for you here. Your child will now be able to track their Spelling Test scores each week here. Please note that your child can only take the Spelling Test once. Please don't take this at home! They can take the practice test as much as they want to.
Spelling Hive Building
Here is a copy of the Spelling Cards your child brought home the second week of school. Things get lost so you can come here and print a duplicate of the card if you wish. These should be printed on a 4 x 6 index card.
